Okay just — this face. First he’s got this intense disgust on his face because how dare Blaine block his shot and then he realizes what he’s done. He realizes that he’s hurt the guy he likes. Watch the entire shot. You can see the point where he decides to distance himself from Blaine. He’s hurt Blaine and that kills him. Sebastian never came off as the type of guy to hang around so long, so why is he still chasing months later? It became something more, wormed deep into his heart and he just wanted Blaine at almost any cost — except at the expense of Blaine himself. And now Sebastian’s in pain too, because he’s the one who did it. And that’s not cool because it was just supposed to be about sex, no strings attached. So he cuts off all emotions because he refuses to be a victim to his own stupid feelings — it’s why he reacts the way he does prior to Smooth Criminal. That’s him distancing himself, but it really isn’t fooling anyone.
Through his own actions, Sebastian lost everything he wanted. He lost Blaine during Bad and then he lost the Warblers and his popularity during Black & White. Now he has nothing. This is the fall of Sebastian Smythe.
